Yung Ho Material Arts Center
The Yung Ho School has instructed Martial Artists since 1974, making us the oldest and most established Martial Arts School in the Tampa Bay area. Our tradition and spirit goes back 2000 years and we train both the body and the mind.
Our Founder and Principal Instructor is our ninth Degree Grand Master Yung Ho Jun. It is truly a rare and unique opportunity to learn directly from a Grandmaster who is one of the foremost experts in the world who is actively involved in teaching. Whether you are a beginning white belt or one of the highest levels of blackbelts, you can learn from one the most knowledgeable instructors in the world - right here in Tampa.
Grandmaster Yung Ho Jun
Founder and chief, Grandmaster Yung Ho Jun, instructor is a 9th Dan black belt.
Yung Ho Jun was born in Korea. He began his Tae Kwon Do training at the age of five. When he was 23, Grand Master Jun was selected as Instructor of the Republic of Korea Special Forces. He immigrated to the U.S. in the 1970s. He is a Korean War Veteran and former U.S. Special Forces instructor.
Distinguished instructor and advisor recognized worldwide by industry peers and organizations including Kukkiwon, Olympic Committee, U.S. Gransmaster’s Society Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award, USTC and many others.
He opened up his main school in Tampa at 1303 East Busch Blvd where he instructs daily.
